Simple Bio:

Dave currently serves as Associate Pastor at Real Life Sango in Clarksville, Tennessee, where he joined the staff in 2026.

For more than 30 years, Dave has served churches in Texas, Arkansas, North Carolina, and Tennessee in a variety of ministry roles, including Student Pastor, Worship Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, Senior Pastor, and Associate Pastor. His passion is helping people know Jesus, grow toward spiritual maturity, and live on mission by making disciples.

After surrendering to God's call to ministry in 1985, Dave joined the staff of Josh McDowell Ministry with Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru), where he served nationally and internationally. Throughout his ministry, he has had the opportunity to write and develop discipleship curriculum used across the Southern Baptist Convention and other denominations, contribute to two Christian-based public school films, write for various publications, and serve as a conference speaker, panel guest, and camp and retreat speaker.

Dave came to know Jesus Christ at a young age through the faithful influence of his parents. He was ordained to the gospel ministry by Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, under the ministry of Dr. Jack Graham in 1991.

Dave and his wife, Leslie, have been married since 1990. Together they have three grown children—Amanda, Christopher (Hannah), and Matthew (Katie)—and enjoy the blessing of being grandparents to five grandchildren.

Originally from Waukegan, Illinois, Dave has lived in Detroit, Michigan; Dallas, Texas; Little Rock, Arkansas; Raleigh, North Carolina; and now calls Clarksville, Tennessee, home.

Dave enjoys preaching, teaching, coaching leaders, and investing in the next generation of disciple-makers. He is available, as his schedule permits, for conferences, retreats, revivals, Bible studies, pulpit supply, leadership training, and ministry consultation.
